An Afternoon with “Mr. Rob” Get ready for some fun as four students will be our facilities manager, “Mr. Rob”, on May 23, 2018 (subject to change) from 3:15 - 6pm. Students will work with Rob to build a bench that will be used around the school.…so dress for mess. Each child will go home with a handmade toolbox that Rob constructed along with other useful items. They will also enjoy an early pizza dinner after all their hard work. (Open to current SHS students in grades 2th- 5th)

Full Day of Pre-K Take advantage of one full school day for your Pre-K “penguin” student, packed with all kinds of fun and adventure with Mrs. Thoensen, Mrs. McLeod and many other Pre-K friends! This experience includes lunch made by Mrs. Thoensen, bingo and prizes, extra recess, art, a movie and much more! This full day of Pre-K is on April 25, 2018 (subject to change). Pick up is at 3pm. (Open to all current SHS Pre-K students)

A Planetarium Adventure with Mrs. Works A Planetarium Adventure with Mrs. Works (Science Teacher) - An Hour Under the Stars. Students will have the unique experience to enter into a mobile planetarium at Sacred Heart School and listen to constellation descriptions and information about the stars and our planet from the Head of the Physics department at Central Washington University, Dr. Bruce Palmquist. This experience is an hour in the planetarium and a half hour of questions and answers and snacks with Dr. Palmquist and SHS science teacher, Kaja Works. Be mindful that while in the planetarium students need to be very quiet, since sound travels within the planetarium. This experience will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 10:30am – Noon at Sacred Heart School. (Limited to 15 current SHS students in grades 5th-8th.)

Night at the Improv with Ms. Boyd (Drama Teacher) Join Ms. Boyd and fellow Sacred Heart students for a fun filled experience at the Improv. This experience for four students includes tickets to an age appropriate show, refreshments and the opportunity to let your hair down and laugh! The Improv is located at the Second Story Repertory Live Theatre in Redmond Town Center. This event accommodates four middle school students, and will take place on a mutually agreeable date before June 2018. (Open to current SHS students in grades 6th – 8th)
